TrueMile ("we", "us") is a cost-per-mile and job-quoting tool for UK hauliers, operated from the United Kingdom. This policy explains what personal data we hold and why. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the app, we don't sell it, and you can delete it yourself at any time.
We do not collect your card details — payments are handled entirely by Stripe, who send us only "this account has paid". We use no advertising or analytics trackers.
Some of the calculator's figures are also kept in your own browser's storage on your device, so the app works offline in the cab.
We process your data to provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract, UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and to keep the service secure (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f)).
For as long as your account exists. Delete your account (in the app: account menu → "Delete my account") and your profile, trucks and job history are erased immediately and permanently. Stripe retains payment records separately as required by financial regulations.
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, or have it deleted. The delete button in the app covers most of it instantly; for anything else, email us and we'll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
TrueMile uses no advertising or tracking cookies — only storage that is strictly necessary for the app to work (keeping you signed in and saving your figures on your device).

If this policy changes materially we'll show a notice in the app. The date at the top always tells you the current version.
